7 Ups And 10 Downs From WWE Fastlane 2019

8. Painful Commentary

This writer has given a lot of room for Renee Young to grow on commentary, but good lord she was terrible on Sunday night.

Young’s “oooh!” reactions to nearly every hard-hitting move became overbearing during Fastlane, as once you noticed how often she was doing it, you couldn’t unhear it. Throw in some mindless banter – her gushing when Lacey Evans came out and praising The Shield without listening to Corey Graves, for example – and you had a really bad night for Renee.

She’s had much better nights, but Sunday was definitely something that should be improved upon. Young is talented and has shown she can be really good on commentary at times, but she’s got to get past some of these miscues.
