2. Tag Champs Defend

This column has been critical of the thrown-together team of Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode winning the Raw Tag Team Championship out of nowhere, but if WWE is going to roll with them as tag champs, then this is the way to do things.

Roode & Ziggler defeated Heavy Machinery fairly cleanly Monday night, with Dolph cutting off Tucker’s run at the Compactor, and then superkicking everything in sight until Roode hit a Glorious DDT for the win. It wasn’t pretty, but it showed the champs were capable of knocking off an established duo to hold onto their titles.

Sure, they might not be a long-term solution as champs, but this writer also wasn’t high on The Bar when they first formed, so stranger things have happened.
