7 Ups And 10 Downs From WWE Royal Rumble 2017

5. A Perfect 10

There wasn’t a ton to cheer in this year’s Royal Rumble, but thankfully WWE got one thing right.

Fans started chanting it as the countdown wound down, and when Tye Dillinger’s music hit at #10, the Alamo Dome erupted. As many had hoped, the Perfect 10 entered the Rumble at #10. Tye squared off against Braun Strowman, but fortunately wasn’t eliminated right away. He lasted about six minutes before Braun tossed him.

This appearance wasn’t about how many people could Dillinger eliminate or whether he’d make a flashy show in the ring. This simply was about Tye making it and WWE not blowing a fun moment for fans. It was an easy win-win, and the company made it happen.
