7 Ups And 10 Downs From WWE Royal Rumble 2017

6. A Logical Loss

After being beaten up and having her knee wrenched in recent weeks, there’s no way Sasha Banks was at 100% heading into her match against Nia Jax at the Royal Rumble.

So it should have been no surprise that Jax toppled The Boss without much trouble Sunday night. Sasha was fighting on one leg and wasn’t able to get things going. Couple that with the fact that Jax hasn’t been pinned in WWE and has been dominant since being called up to the main roster and you have a recipe for a Nia victory.

How WWE handles it from here is important. If Sasha (in storyline) works to get herself healthy and comes up with a gameplan stop the unstoppable Jax, then it could make for a good Mania match. That’s where this assumption is coming from, and we’ll stick with it until proven otherwise.
