While Goldusts return was squandered, the match he was in was a happy bonus for fans. Yes, it was your typical, hastily thrown-together Survivor Series elimination match, but thats perfectly OK for the kickoff show. The five-on-five match gave the Dudleys, Ascension, Bo Dallas, Miz, Neville, Stardust and Titus ONeil something to do for the night and let them just go out there and entertain. They managed to work in a couple great elimination themes we often see in these matches: a rollup (Goldust on Miz), a quick power move (Goldust powerslam on Viktor), and a combo finisher (Neville eating a Bo-Dog and Skull-Crushing Finale). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUnDJ-ArBN0 All in all, it wasnt an Earth-shattering, storyline-advancing match, but it was a fun bout to set the mood and give 10 guys on the roster a little ring time at a PPV.
