5. Catanzaro Looks Set To Be Purged

Last week saw NXT's resident best friends Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro sticking their noses in Xia Li and Tian Sha's business, only for the pair to find themselves on the receiving end of a beating.

Determined to bounce back from that painful experience, the twosome took on Jessi Kamea and Aliyah on Wednesday night. Quickly showcasing their supreme chemistry together, the duo caught Kamea with a double kick to the skull.

Soon taking the attention away from the battle in the ring, however, Boa arrived on the scene, shrouded in mysterious lighting and smoke. That wasn't enough to derail the KC's momentum, though, as a crossbody/neckbreaker combo on Aliyah secured the victory for the team.

Yet, this night wasn't over for the duo. Li eventually made her presence known, smearing two black marks on Catanzaro's hand before explaining that she will "purge" her next week.

Though we're not entirely sure what that entails, it doesn't sound like Kacy is in for an evening of fun with her former pal.
