7 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (April 13)

Before the in-ring portion of this week's NXT began, General Manager William Regal appeared in a pre-taped backstage segment welcoming fans to the broadcast. First, he thanked everybody for making NXT TakeOver: Dallas such a rousing success, then he proceeded to introduce this week's episode - Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa would take on The Vaudevillains, Bayley would be making her first appearance since losing the Women's Championship to Asuka, and Shinsuke Nakamura would be in action.

It's always a joy to see Regal, and even though he didn't do much, his introduction to the program was warm and welcoming - almost like he was hosting Masterpiece Theatre. Every episode of NXT should feature William Regal running down the card as we tune in. Oh, and cut-ins from the General Manager throughout the broadcast. They'd beat more of those awful scripted promos.
