7 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (April 13)

1. Nakamura Reigns

No, that entry title isn't predicting the main event of WrestleMania 34. All episode long, NXT's announcers hyped up Shinsuke Nakamura's main event (while putting over his match with Sami Zayn at TakeOver: Dallas), and finally, it was time for "The King of Strong Style" to take on "The Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger.

The match wasn't long, but it was what it needed to be - Nakamura made a dramatic entrance, played off of Dillinger well, and beat him decisively. As for Dillinger, working with Nakamura brought out the best in him, and he came off as pretty darn charismatic himself.

It's clear that Nakamura's time in NXT is limited. He's already getting such a great reaction from the fans that it can't be long before he's called up to the main roster and he shoots his way up the card. In the meantime, though, he's the best attraction the NXT brand has, and he's sure to continue creating electricity in these small, intimate settings before he's in the arenas and stadiums WWE runs.
