7 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Feb 17th)

3. Tye Dillinger Gets A WIN

If you ever attend an NXT event in person, you'll notice that Tye Dillinger is one of the best acts on the whole show. He lives and breathes his Perfect Ten gimmick (but usually comes out on the losing end of all his battles). This week he was facing A-Ry, and I figured Riley would win the match, 100%, and that Tye would be staring at the lights once again. To my surprise and in a shocking result, Dillinger ended up getting the win in about three minutes. What I loved about this is that giving the Perfect Ten a win now makes him more valuable on the show and means in the future if he's putting over a bigger name like a Balor or Crews, it means a little bit extra because he's beginning to get gain some credibility. I'm not naive enough to think Tye Dillinger will be main eventing NXT anyime soon, but he deserves more of a push than he's had in recent months, so hopefully his victory this week will lead to more focus on him.
