7 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Feb 17th)
2. A Championship Worth Fighting For
As Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn prepared to start this match, they both looked like they were stepping into the biggest match of their careers. Zayn is attempting to become the first ever two-time NXT Champion, while Joe is trying to cement his status in the company by becoming champ for the first time. Throughout this solid main event match, both men were hitting each other with moves that, although they're usually delivered by both, seemed to pack more of a punch this time out. The two characters laid it all on the line because they had to win. All that mattered to these two was winning, and getting the chance to become NXT Champion. This match is precisely why Road Dogg is wrong. He maintains wins and losses don't matter but, funnily enough, on NXT they matter every week and it's a better show because of it.
