3. Laying It In Heavy

Following a theme from Wednesday night, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe did not hold anything back in terms of how heavy they went at each other. The two didnt dance around with a long feeling out process or have periods of down time in their NXT Championship cage match; they just tore into each other.

Joe threw Finn into the cage multiple times, so Balor dropkicked him into the cage. They knocked each other off the top rope, kicked out of each others finishers and hit high-impact moves from the top rope.

Ultimately, Samoa Joes second-rope Super Muscle Buster got the job done to end the feud. While this wasnt the best match of the rivalry or even of the night, it still was a solid bout, rounding out the night nicely. Sure, it wouldve been nice if this had been a crescendo, but we got five good bouts, so why complain?
