It’s a recipe for success: Take two quality tag teams comprised of three former world champions and have them engage in a series of compelling, lengthy battles over the course of several months and watch the drama build.

And so another chapter in the Shield/Bar rivalry was written Monday night, when Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose tried unsuccessfully to wrestle the Raw Tag Team Championships away from Cesaro and Sheamus. The four men are among the best in-ring performers in WWE, and they simply mesh really well.

Sure, at some point, these two teams will have to move on from each other, but we can enjoy their matches in the interim. Monday’s title bout was another chapter in their history, and it looks like it might be one of the last ones.
