3. Weapons Can’t Mask Bad Match

You never want to be too critical of wrestlers who are going out there and putting their bodies on the line, especially when they’re wailing on each other with weapons.

But the SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey was a disappointment, a messy affair that tried to build drama but was undone by several awkward moments and pauses that took you out of the match.

Rousey toyed with Morgan throughout, but Liv finally got the upper hand with the help of a baseball bat, fire extinguisher, chair and a senton through a table. Ronda used the bat herself, but consistently went back to submission attempts, including a clunky finish where she struggled to hook in a biceps crusher to make Morgan pass out.

Right outcome, but it took too long to get there and stumbled along the way.
