7 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE Raw (13 March - Review)

1. Cody Can’t Miss

This improbable build to WrestleMania pitting the never-ending champion Roman Reigns against the inevitable challenger Cody Rhodes continues to amaze week after week as it keeps building, the wave reaching higher and still not breaking.

Rhodes had a spirited match with LA Knight, dispatching with the brash superstar before cutting an impassioned promo in which he welded himself even closer to Sami Zayn (and Kevin Owens) rather than the opposite, then talked about how he wears tailored suits as a “protective armor” because he wants to be someone – tying back to how he’s desperate to beat Roman at WrestleMania so that the Tribal Chief (and the entire wrestling world) is forced to acknowledge him as the first Rhodes to hold the WWE Championship.

It was a straight fire promo that had fans eating out of his hands, and while we keep saying that’s hard to do every week, Cody keeps repeating it each week.
