7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (August 24th)

Downs...

5. Breaking The Mold

You can forgive wrestling fans (and the average person) if they don€™t know how long it takes to sculpt and cast a bronze statue, but you have to assume fans are damn fools if you expect them to believe that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon had a lifelike bronze statue of Seth Rollins created in less than 24 hours. Rollins declared his desire to be immortalized with a statue on last week€™s Raw, so it€™s conceivable that Triple H felt confident enough to commission a statue immediately. But sculptors estimate that a life-sized bronze statue takes about seven weeks: one week to make the rubber mold, six weeks to cast into bronze. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd-wBdtNFJk Obviously, WWE wasn€™t going to go for realism with something that only served as a plot device, but it did raise a big question mark when they rolled out the €œstatue€ just one day after Rollins€™ victory. Not a huge issue by any means, but it just felt off.
