4. Reigns Is Vulnerable

Let’s establish right away that this isn’t an “up” solely because Roman Reigns got beat up… though that’s part of it.

Reigns has looked dominant through much of his singles run in WWE, rarely looking vulnerable for more than a week at a time. But after being slammed through the barricade this week, Roman barely was able to chase off Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (yes, the fact he chased them and had to lean on a steel chair for support worked). Then, he stepped to Braun Strowman, only to have his spear countered into a powerslam.

Roman shouldn’t look too weak, but it’s a nice change to see him struggling. It might help build some honest sympathy organically rather than the writers trying to force it on the fans. Of course, if he comes out next week and runs roughshod over the entire tag division, we’ll have to re-evaluate that.
