7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 3)

2. Joe Yells A Lot

Samoa Joe versus Brock Lesnar is proof that you don’t necessarily need to have a babyface to make fans want to see a match.

Joe and Brock engaged in a simulcast backstage interview, which really consisted of Joe yelling at Lesnar and egging him on, while the Beast simply and calmly pointed out that he was walking into the PPV as the champ and walking out as champ. Brock added that he wasn’t going to let Joe get under his skin.

The Samoan Submission Machine said he wasn’t going to sit around and talk, took off his microphone and went hunting for Brock. He eventually found him, but an army of agents and refs prevented them from touching.

Joe might be a speedbump for Lesnar, but he’s certainly making Sunday’s bout a must-see affair.
