3. Mic Drop

Even back in NXT, it was pretty apparent that Enzo Amore was a gifted man on the mic. His promos might meander sometimes and not make a ton of sense, but more often than not, Enzo can fire up the crowd.

Monday, the suddenly solo Enzo delivered a fiery promo that got a little real about being thankful for the fans who put food on his table by buying his merchandise, and how Big Cass was “nothing more than a seven-foot catchphrase… that I wrote.” It was a powerful rant that built until he called him “Casshole.”

Not to let it lie there, Enzo went after Cass backstage, showing that he might be smaller, but he’s scrappy. Sure, Cass is the likely man to bet on for Sunday’s PPV, but Amore certainly made himself look like more of a threat and not just a stepping stone.
