Sure, he went on to face Braun Strowman and get demolished, but what in the hell is Apollo Crews’ problem?

Titus O’Neil approached his client and asked him about taking advantage of the opportunity posed by Braun Strowman. Instead of rising to the occasion, Crews looked terrified and remarked that he had just had a baby, suggesting that he was scared of the challenge.

Is Apollo a heel or a face? If he’s a heel, being afraid of Strowman kind of makes sense, as Cesaro sidestepped a match with Braun (though he instead wanted to face Finn Balor). But an alleged hero ducking a match because his wife gave birth to a daughter? Come on.

Look, if Titus’ stable is a heel one, that’s fine, but we’ve been doing this weird dance, and Crews is about as blank of a blank slate as you can get. Do something to make us care. That’s all we ask. Right now, all we have are questions.
