2. Still A Fan Favorite To Hate
Memo to Vince McMahon: Last night was not an aberration. The past three months werent a mirage. Roman Reigns still is the object of fans scorn. Even coming out to help crowd favorites Randy Orton and Ryback doesnt help. You cant fit a round peg into a square hole, and you cant shoehorn Reigns into the role of your top babyface when John Cena gets way more cheers. The only moment where fans cheered was when Roman dove over the top rope and took out the Authority. That lasted for only a few seconds before the crowd remembered to boo Reigns. Unfortunately for Roman, he is in a zone with fans where his victory would ensure everyone goes home in a new car and they still would boo him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRDUCiTHKfA WWE once figured out what to do with a young Samoan who was considered a blue-chip babyface who was constantly booed. They turned him heel and had him lay into the fans until they finally came around to him. Thats not saying Roman Reigns can follow the same path to success as his cousin the Rock, but giving fans what they want sometimes actually works out.
