7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 30th)
6. A Budding Rivalry
Sometimes putting two popular guys in the ring and letting them work their magic is the right call. In the case of Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler, an Intercontinental Championship match between the two to open RAW in front of a hot crowd was absolutely the correct move. Bryan and Ziggler continued their rivalry from WrestleMania and even during the lead-up to the event, with Ziggler beating Bryan twice in a row before Mania. Bryan managed to retain his IC title, but theres a good chance well see more of them in the ring. Fans will be guaranteed quality matchups, but hopefully this wont be a rivalry played on an unending loop. That will help no one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVwulNxZv08 Its probably too much to ask for to have Bryan and Ziggler elevate the value of the Intercontinental Championship by being booked strongly themselves, but much like Christmas when you were little, youll never get a present if you dont ask. For now though, fans should just enjoy quality matches like Mondays bout.
