7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 9)

1. Alexander Continues To Mix It Up

Way back when, when Cedric Alexander dressed up as a janitor to wrestle Shane McMahon (don’t ask), the question was whether this was leading somewhere or if he was going to be relegated back to chasing after the 24/7 Championship.

Thankfully, we’ve seen Alexander continue to battle notable wrestlers week after week, even scoring a win in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. And then, after being jumped by the OC last week, we got some continuity with Cedric facing AJ Styles Monday night.

That match was cut short by the OC, but then Alexander was inserted into a 10-man tag main event, giving Cedric even more exposure… and then he pinned Styles to win the match for his team. Not a bad night at all.

Hopefully, this will continue for the young superstar, as he could have a nice future if WWE continues to put their faith in him.
