The rebirth of Asuka as the focal point of the women’s division has been fun to watch in recent weeks, starting with the revelation that she was perfect for the empty arena era, yelling in Japanese at her rivals on commentary.

But since winning the Raw Women’s Championship, she has been booked strongly, taking down potential challengers like #1 contender Nia Jax and looking near-dominant while doing it.

Monday, we got to see more of this, with Asuka knocking Jax out of the ring to open Raw, then parading by Charlotte Flair and informing her that “Red is not your color.” And then during the triple threat, Asuka was on commentary cheering on Natalya and Nia while jawing with everyone in the match.

Hopefully, we’ll see Asuka continue a bit longer in this role, front-and-center of the women’s division. She’s probably the most interesting wrestler on the program.
