It could be a function of the empty arena surroundings, but the wrestling was rather lackluster Monday night.

Think about it: Aside from the women’s triple threat, was there any good in-ring action? Sure, some of it was passable, but there just wasn’t anything worth remembering after Raw went off the air.

There apparently was an edict to do shorter matches, but shorter does not necessarily mean less entertaining or less enjoyable. But this writer simply did not really enjoy the wrestling Monday night. Let’s hope things turn around next week and they find a happy medium.
