Before Monday night, it had been more than a decade since Bobby Lashley stepped into a WWE ring. Lashley’s first go-round barely lasted two years, but it was a packed two years.

His second tour of duty started off simply enough, interrupting the company’s favorite troubadour, Elias. Lashley drank in some “Welcome back!” cheers before hitting Elias with a delayed vertical suplex that probably had all of the Drifter’s blood rushing to his head.

And that was it for his big return. While not everyone can have a huge moment on the Raw after WrestleMania, it was a little surprising they didn’t do more with Lashley. Still, it was good to see him back, and it will be interesting to see how WWE utilizes him this time around.
