7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 9)

6. Moon, Morgan Deliver Decent Match

It would be easy to dismiss a Liv Morgan match as being sloppy, disjointed or boring. She was called up to the main roster several months ago and hasn’t really impressed at all. Morgan felt more like she was called up to fill out the women’s roster in advance of the first women’s Royal Rumble match.

But Morgan and Ember Moon had a decent little match Monday night, with Moon still dominating sections of it and winning convincingly. However, Morgan held up her end, showing she’s improved. Sure, no one is going to mistake her for Asuka or Charlotte Flair, but it’s obvious that she has improved. (Of course, it didn’t hurt that Ember was on-point as well.)

So while we are likely (and hopefully) lightyears away from Liv as a women’s champion, let’s give a little kudos and hope there’s more improvement coming.
