7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 9)

Ups...

7. The Little Things

We occasionally have to give a thumbs-up to instances where WWE pays attention to little details that are easy to miss. These little things can make a difference between a decent episode and a really good one.

During the pull-apart brawl between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin was part of the army trying to keep the two superstars separated, and Finn Bálor buzzed by on his way to try to help subdue Roman. On his way, he slugged Corbin, and just kept on going.

The two have an ongoing issue and are facing each other at Extreme Rules. It didn’t take a drawn-out segment to keep things moving, just a simple drive-by on Corbin to remind everyone that they didn’t like each other. It’s something that often gets forgotten in those melees. Good to see it didn’t this time.
