7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 9)

2. Just A House Show Main Event

Let’s be clear here: Raw’s main event pitting Seth Rollins and his disciples against the Viking Raiders and Street Profits was a good match.

However, this was a match we probably could see at any house show in the lead-up to WrestleMania. It was yet another permutation of Rollins’ army versus the locker room resistance, which has also included Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe.

Also, Rollins got a clear, clean pinfall on Montez Ford, just 24 hours after the Profits defended their Raw Tag Team Championship against Rollins and Murphy. And while Rollins is a former world champion and justifiably could win such a match, it just felt like a strange decision to have your tag champs job one night later.

If Rollins is moving toward a match with Owens at WrestleMania 36, then did he really need his win back? But moreover, this really felt like a house show match than the main event of a Raw one month out from the biggest show of the year.
