6. Corbin Moving On

Watching the Baron Corbin/Dolph Ziggler match, you get the feeling WWE wanted Corbin to take advantage of the no-DQ stipulation to put over a ruthless side of him at least, thats what you have to assume given how he won the match.

Corbin hit a blatant low blow in full view of the referee perfectly legal in the bout and hit an End of Days to win the match. He laughed about doing it while announcer Mauro Ranallo speculated that if you asked Baron about it, hed say he did it because (he) can.

Heres the problem with that: Corbin was a punching machine during the match. There was nothing extreme about the bout until the low blow. Baron never used a table, ladder, chair or even the steel steps before the end. If the goal was to show that Corbin was a callous, sinister competitor, then WWE failed.

If that wasnt their intent and they just wanted him to use a low blow to win, then thats just foolish when trying to build a monster heel.
