3. Going Insane By Boredom

A match between Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose, contested inside a steel cage with weapons dangling from it: What could go wrong?

Unfortunately, the answer involves some yawning. The first ever asylum match in WWE might also be the last, if Sundays bout was any indication. The match was built around one thing: someone getting dropped into a pile of thumbtacks and becoming a human pincushion. Other than that, everything else was just killing time.

And that was evident by the slow, plodding nature of the match, which just seemed to meander toward its conclusion, not to mention the often quiet crowd in the early going. And while the ending was entertaining as hell, it cant make for slow climbs, going through the motions, a mop as a weapon and the comedy that went along with it.

Thankfully, Ambrose won definitively, and hopefully both men can move on to different rivalries now.
