7 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Money In The Bank 2018
2. IC Title Bout Delivers
The tear that Seth Rollins has been on continued Sunday night at Money in the Bank, as he and Elias had a pretty damn good Intercontinental Championship match.
Rollins of course was his usual smooth and skilled self, putting on the typical strong performance, but Elias was up to the task, accelerating with Rollins in the second-half of the match, including a great sequence toward the end where the troubadour sidestepped a suicide dive and shoved Rollins into pillar and post before hitting a diving elbow drop for a long 2 count.
The match had the potential to be a show-stealer, and after two pedestrian efforts to open the PPV, the IC title bout was a nice change of pace. It also makes you want to see them square up again, which is likely given the finish.
