There probably was no good outcome to the Sami Zayn/Bobby Lashley match after the p*ss-poor buildup during the past month. Whatever popularity and goodwill there was for Lashley, it was gone by Sunday.

Fans weren’t enthralled with Lashley, and it wasn’t like the match with Zayn was going to win over new converts. Sami ran away to start, but he quickly got caught and mauled. Three delayed vertical suplexes later, Lashley was victorious.

While it’s tempting to give an “up” for WWE having Lashley go over strong, we just can’t forget or forgive weeks of horrid writing that turned what could have been an intriguing match into a time-filler.
