Bobby Lashley Rusev

If you thought Monday’s match between Bobby Lashley and Rusev was going to be the culmination of their feud, we’ve got a bridge to sell you.

Rusev and Lashley had a pretty decent little match, complete with a nice spot where Bobby hit a German suplex – and the Bulgarian Brute no-sold it and hit a Machka Kick. But then, the ancillaries kicked in.

Liv Morgan came down to confront Lana after she interrupted Rusev slapping on the Accolade. The women jawed at ringside until Lana threw a drink at Liv and tossed her into the barricade. This distraction proved to be too much for Rusev, who was speared by Lashley for the loss.

And now, we get the inevitable mixed tag match next week, because everyone was dying to see Lana wrestle again. And Liv’s efforts to even the score proved to be what led to Rusev’s downfall, so big victory there.

Still remain open to enjoying this feud, but the soap opera turns just aren’t doing it.
