7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 18)

3. Making Raw Look Lame

Granted, the bumpers for shows on the WWE Network are not necessarily part of Raw, but watching the commercials for Edge & Christian€™s Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness makes you want to just skip ahead to the end of Raw to see that, doesn€™t it? Raw regularly serves up Goldust and R-Truth €œhumor,€ JBL arguing with an un-hip Byron Saxton and other groan-inducing segments weekly.

By comparison, Edge & Christian have hit their stride with their Network program, which is consistently one of the most entertaining original shows WWE has produced. Even the brief preview Monday night was enough to make you wonder why WWE can€™t be just as genuinely funny on Raw.

Sean Mooney saying he€™s not wearing pants while €œMean€ Gene Okerlund looks down and yells, €œHoly Balls!€ is funnier than every Golden Truth segment we€™ve had to endure combined.
