Poor Roman Reigns. You€™ve got to feel for him on a personal level. The guy is living his dream as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He overcame the oppressive Authority and finally got his WrestleMania moment after having it ripped away last year. And now, no matter what he does or says, the fans just rain down boos on him.

London was particularly tough, booing the ever-loving snot out of Roman whenever he even tried to talk. It was particularly bad when AJ Styles came out, as fans cheered loudly for him to really show the contrast €“ even muting the crowd couldn€™t fully mask that. Reigns even tried to give kudos to Styles and was met with jeers. The only time they cheered was when Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows attacked him.

And memo to the creative team: The good guy/bad guy/the guy shtick is not sticking, at least not if you want it to be a positive catchphrase. If it€™s designed to make fans boo, then mission accomplished. Otherwise, it might be a good idea to ditch it.
