5. This Takes The Cake
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYptbVZqfz4 A terrible segment gets a terrible pun. Can we all agree now that the Goldust/R-Truth segments solely exist to entertain Vince McMahon? Theyre not putting two of the longest-tenured wrestlers on the roster in a better position to succeed. Theyre not making fans want to see them win the WWE Tag Team Championships. And most importantly, theyre not entertaining to many who are watching these vignettes. Monday, Goldust baked a cake for R-Truth to apologize for costing Truth his PPV math the night before. Truth said he was too big of a man to smash the cake in his face, then quickly return to do just that. Hilarious. Twenty years ago, Goldust was battling Triple H in the WWF midcard. Today, Helmsley is holding his 14th world title and Goldust is trying desperately to tag with a guy who has an imaginary friend. Just sayin.
