7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 22)

Ups...

7. Elevating The Dudleys?

It looks like we€™re witnessing a slow build to a WrestleMania match between the Dudley Boyz and the Usos. The two teams have been at odds since the Dudleys put the brothers through tables in a much-needed heel turn a few weeks ago. Monday, the Usos squashed the Ascension (Hey! They still have a job!) while the Dudleys looked on. The theme for the Dudleys is that they are not some nostalgia act or one-trick ponies defined by their use of tables. It€™s a great idea and a great way to freshen up the act, but the duo needs some victories to make this stick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jtnisc3HG8s And maybe it€™s selfish as an Attitude Era fan, but seeing the Dudleys get one more run at the top of the tag division as a no-nonsense team would be fun. The Usos are fine, but realistically, what€™s their act? They€™re Samoan brothers who yell their name a lot. And they€™re related to Rikishi, Roman Reigns and the Rock. That€™s not a knock against them, but who has more well-defined characters? Plus, it would be interesting to see if Bubba Ray Dudley gets a chance to shine on the mic as he did in TNA.
