One night after Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins rocked the house with their WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, the two hooked up against Monday night, battling each other for the #1 contenders spot in what Michael Cole called a WrestleMania-worthy match.

And while that matchup could be placed on a Mania card, the outcome from Monday certainly wouldnt fly at Mania, because it certainly didnt work here either. The two had a fine mini-match for a few minutes before things started to break down and the fight spilled outside the ring. With the count going, Reigns speared Rollins over the Spanish announce table, leading to neither man beating the count.

With no clear-cut victor, Dean Ambrose offered to face both men at the same time, bailing Shane McMahon out from having to figure out how to address this. Even though it looked like they were shooting for this to happen so we could get a Shield triple threat, it felt forced to have a double count-out in a #1 contenders match.
