There was a lot to unpack in the six-man tag match to open Raw, but hats off to Lio Rush, who was the difference-maker for his team.

Rush interfered twice during the match, messing with Finn Balor both times. That ticked the Intercontinental Champion off enough that he gave chase to Lio, running right into a Bobby Lashley broadside. Then, Rush ate a Braun Strowman tackle through the barricade, which took both men out of action, allowing the heels to pick up a tainted victory.

The post-match beatdown was a bit much considering that this trio of Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin have been floundering as a unit for a while now, but the reasoning for that became abundantly clear later on.
