There’s still several weeks before WrestleMania, but you couldn’t help but think when Roman Reigns started talking about Seth Rollins standing in his way, that he’d end up with the WWE Universal Championship match at Mania.

And while Rollins’ point about Roman deserving that shot was true, it would have been a terrible look for WWE to negate both of their Royal Rumble winners’ WrestleMania title shots within weeks of each other. If there was one thing that might have caused fans to turn the Reigns lovefest into a shower of boos, taking Seth’s championship match could have been it.

Instead, Reigns expressed confidence in Rollins defeating Brock Lesnar and wished him luck at Mania. It was a classy move that tied that up nicely, while leaving it open for Reigns to respectfully challenge Rollins down the line.
