7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 9)

5. An €˜Incomplete€™ Debut

Tyler Breeze€™s WWE in-ring debut Monday night had a lot of the elements you€™d want for a new superstar: a solid promo, a quick-paced match that showcased his talents and a good, clean finish. The only problem? Breeze wasn€™t the one who won. And in reality, Breeze shouldn€™t have knocked off Dean Ambrose. But then why have Prince Pretty face Ambrose? Did they really need to set up that Neville/King Barrett match for England? (Breeze could have toppled Neville in a first-round match.) But Breeze did look good in this quick-paced match, and he lost by charging in blind, making a €œrookie€ mistake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agJf0KnMNmA Safe money would be on Breeze costing Dolph Ziggler his quarterfinal match against Ambrose to further that feud, which would go a long way to smoothing this over. Not every debuting wrestler needs to win his/her first match, but it all depends what you do after that first loss that really matters.
