1. WTF Was That?

OK, clearly WWE wanted to end Raw and the WWE Championship match on a cliffhanger, with the result of the title bout in doubt, but how they went about it was just plain idiotic.

Near the end of a very hot match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, Rollins superplexed Ambrose and attempted to float over into a Falcon Arrow, but Dean rolled him up (with both men’s shoulders on the mat) for a three count. However, the ref had been knocked over moments earlier, and wasn’t able to explain his decision. Instead, he sat in the corner wincing as two wrestlers, two commissioners and two GMs stood over him trying to get an answer from him.

They never got one, and Stephanie McMahon simply announced Rollins as the winner and new champion. So the ref was knocked over and still able to make the three count, then so hurt that he sat in the corner unable to speak or point or do anything useful in the two or three minutes before Raw went off the air.

Whether this means another match for Smackdown or the title being held up is all up in the air now, but it was pretty poorly done.
