7 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 21)

1. Rollins Returns

Was that the beginning of a face turn for Seth Rollins Monday night? Rollins, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion who never lost his title, won a Superstar of the Year Slammy and was on hand to accept his award in person. During his remarks, Rollins started out thanking the fans and quickly switched to heel mode, talking about how great he was and how great his year was, laughing the whole time. But then, he mentioned his injury and seemed to get a little choked up. He then delivered a tagline he used right after he got injured: Redesign, Rebuild, Reclaim. Rollins made it clear that he intends to win back his title. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Go_SCz1LYZE Seth will be out for several more months, so a lot can change between now and then, but it seemed like he was test-driving a positive message to rally fans behind him rather than the whining promos he delivered for much of 2015. It€™ll be interesting to see which Rollins we get in 2016.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
