7 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 20th)

2. The Mother Of All Pull-Apart Brawls

If you€™re going to do a massive brawl that involves three-quarters of the locker room and a host of security, this was the way to do it. When Triple H ordered the locker room to be ready to break up a fight between Brock Lesnar and Undertaker, it looked like we could see the entire roster get buried as the two men just beat up mid-carders and jobbers to get to each other. What we got was a much more realistic brawl, with Brock wriggling free a few times to get to Taker, and then vice-versa. The fight then spilled over to backstage, with everyone dogpiling both men to pull them apart, finally for good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eivGJZGs2jo Say what you will about the reason for this feud, that one brawl sold the match at SummerSlam because you could feel the hatred between the two. Taker costs Brock the title and threatens his advocate, and Lesnar screams, €œI€™m gonna kill you!€ repeatedly as he tries to claw through 10 guys to get to the Deadman.
