7 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 22nd)
3. Unsung Xavier
Hes flown just under the radar for a while, but WWE has to know that its got something special with Xavier Woods. Besides being a brilliant young man and skilled in-ring performer, hes got it when it comes to being a presence on the outside of the ring. Woods could very well be a top manager/wrestler in WWE if the company lets him develop. Xaviers taunting on the outside was on display Monday as he tried to rile the fans, then took a ringside photographers camera and started snapping pictures of Kofi Kingston wearing down Neville. That type of Grade-A hamming is something thats sorely lacking from managers or wrestlers seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5HqSSwVCwk A lot of other people accompanying wrestlers to the ring are forgotten unless theyre on camera. You hear Woods throughout the match, and the camera just finds him regularly because of his histrionics. And his promos are solid stuff. His pent-up fury when he nearly told the crowd last week that they sucked was outstanding. It looks like New Day is on the verge of boiling over and having their positivity give way to full-on heel aggression. When that happens, look for Xavier Woods to really shine.
