Someone is going to have to explain whether Primo and Epico are heroes or villains quickly, before people lose interest and tune out.

The former tag champs who used to moonlight as bullfighters returned to WWE Monday night after starring in a series of vignettes in which they acted as travel agents for their homeland of Puerto Rico. They walked to the ring carrying hibiscus flowers and talking about how the ring was an island, like Puerto Rico, and they welcomed all tourists to their island.

Primo and Epico then proceeded to decimate John Skyler and Corey Hollis, er, sorry, Scott Jackson and Brian Kennedy. Their in-ring skills were impressive enough, but it was impossible to tell if fans should outright hate them because they love their homeland, tolerate them because they arent doing anything wrong, or lose interest for the same reason.

Whatever the case, the Shining Stars (yes, thats their new team name) better get it together soon or else people will be longing for the bullfighters and El Torito again.

Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
