7 Ups And 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 17)

6. A Direction For Dallas?

Let’s face it: A win over Neville isn’t exactly a career-launching victory, but Bo Dallas beating the Man That Gravity Forgot still is a notable win for the former Social Outcast.

Since his return to Raw several weeks ago, Dallas has been beating local talent in convincing fashion, displaying a newfound aggression and a no-nonsense attitude. Gone are the goofy “Bo-lieve” promos and premature victory laps, replaced with creepy rhyming promos and a lot of staring. Monday, Dallas defeated Neville straight-up, cutting off a Red Arrow attempt and hitting his finisher for the win. It very well might not lead anywhere, but for now, let’s acknowledge that Bo actually is winning matches.

And in a nice nod, Bo turned on his friend Curtis Axel after the match, decimating him and leaving him lying (in a manner that wouldn’t surprise anyone if Axel was written off WWE TV). The odd loner character might not be a big winner, but it’s a step for now.
