There’s no way you could have planned it any better than if Rey Mysterio’s 619th day as world champion fell on a day when Raw emanated from San Diego.

New Day, the guys who oh-so-appropriately throw boxes of cereal into the crowd, marked the 420th day of their WWE Tag Team Championship reign in Denver, Colorado, where marijuana is legal. (If you need an explanation of what “420” means, consult Google.) And the tag champs made sure to toss a couple “mile high” references out there to give the fans a little nod. Thankfully, it was just a quick couple jokes to acknowledge the coincidence and then New Day moved on.

Let’s just hope some parent in Boise, Idaho didn’t freak out that there were pot references on PG programming and called WWE headquarters to complain.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
