One of the better storylines going on right now involves two of the best performers both in and out of the ring, and they’re not even feuding with each other… yet.

Tensions have been slowing building in full view between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens, with KO ditching Jericho twice in a row to eat a Seth Rollins Pedigree. Then on Monday, he disobeyed Y2J’s request to stay away during his match with Rollins, which he ultimately lost. Backstage, the two nearly imploded before Stephanie McMahon preserved the peace in the name of the upcoming Survivor Series Raw versus SmackDown elimination match.

It’s been an open secret that the awesome Jeri-KO isn’t long for this world, and the seeds have been planted and hints dropped for several weeks now. The only question is how long will they last, and how will it shake out? Will Jericho cost KO the Universal Championship, or could he challenge for it?

The storyline is aided greatly by the fact that both men are awesome on the mic and fans are clearly loving the interplay between the two.
