True, Nikki Cross didn’t win Sunday’s Money in the Bank ladder match, but considering that the Scot had barely been seen on WWE TV in 2019 before Raw last week, she’s come a long way in a short period of time.

Cross substituted for Alexa Bliss in a fatal four-way match last week – and won, her first televised victory since January. Sunday, Nikki immediately was popular with fans, just by doing her usual manic entrance, which shows you something. Right off the bat, Cross caught Carmella and Dana Brooke in the ring apron and pounded them, then grabbed a ladder and walloped everyone else. Two minutes into the match and Nikki was the highlight.

To repeat, Cross didn’t win MITB, but hopefully her showing the past week is a sign that she won’t be neglected and languish on the sidelines again.
